With spring break comes a new host of fun and family-friendly activities for the entire family to enjoy, and this year, Houston hosts several new and returning events for Spring Break 2019.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has once more returned to NRG Park, a Houston tradition since 1932. This Texan favorite runs through March 17, 2019 and features live musical performances from Kane Brown, Zac Brown Band, Kings of Leon, Santana, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, and George Strait.

The weekday rodeos begin at 6:45pm, with weekend rodeos kicking off at 3:45pm. Top 100 musical acts hit the stage each night, kicking off just as soon as the dust settles.

Levy Park’s Spring Break Kickoff Concert lands on March 9th, with free admission to see former Voice contestant and hometown treasure, Sarah Grace & The Soul. March 9th brings the 28th Annual Mariachi Invitational to the Arena Theatre, or check out Anastasia at the Hobby Center downtown through 10th for its touching story of love, family, and intrigue against the romantic backdrop of 1920s Paris.

The 46th Annual Buffalo Bayou Regatta also returns this year on March 9th to Allen’s Landing, hosting the state’s biggest canoe and kayak race for participants 12 and up. The regatta features a 15.5-mile course up the Buffalo Bayou.
